you are the one you have been waiting for

“THE SOUL SPEAKS ITS TRUTH ONLY UNDER QUIET, INVITING AND TRUSTWORTHY CONDITIONS.” PARKER PALMER

I offer radical, accountable partnership to support and bear witness to your evolution. Through our collaboration, we will create the ideal conditions to support your growth and development.

Curiosity

“What if the world is holding its breath-waiting for you to take the place that only you can fill” David Whyte

Asking gentle questions of ourselves enhances our potential for discovering what is possible.

Compassion

“..this revolutionary act of treating ourselves tenderly can begin to undo the aversive messages of a lifetime.” Tara Brach

Learning to tend to ourselves with kindness expands our capacity for an essential understanding of others.

Connection

“When we know ourselves to be connected to all others, acting compassionately is simply the natural thing to do.” Rachel Naomi Remen

A deeper, more meaningful relationship to ourselves and others is a catalyst for growth leading to valuable insights and new perspectives.

You are seen and heard.

THERE ARE ENDLESS WAYS TO NAVIGATE THE LANDSCAPE OF OUR LIVES TO SUPPORT OUR WHOLENESS.

The most powerful way to connect to another person is by listening. Bringing a type of silence to another person can be a refuge for acceptance, allowing the wisdom of our lives to emerge and inform. In our work, I walk alongside you, creating space for you to discover and access your own inner wisdom. Together we explore your internal circumstances and how they may change your stories and process. By tending to your inner landscape, we will increase your capacity to make small progressive actions consistently over time, supporting you to  truly embody your whole self.

Beneath the surface of your life is a truer life waiting to be honored. Honoring both your stories of hardship and of strength invites you to let your truths guide you to become the person you have always been.

YOU ARE THE ONE YOU HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR

Whether you are struggling with perfectionism, wellness, expectations, communication, around topics of race and equity or perhaps your own inclusion, I look forward to meeting you where you are. You can create new patterns that reinforce your desires and visions, and contribute to your living wholeheartedly.

About Myriam

(being in service)

Having been in service to others from a very young age, I never recognized that as a superpower… it is usually our strongest gifts that we are barely aware of possessing. Years of nourishing, celebrating, listening, caring for people and children has culminated into a practice of serving the wholeness in others. Having a deep capacity for honoring and seeing people as equals, it is clear to me that all of my experiences, wounds, strengths and limitations are the source of my compassion and empathy. Over the years my professional experience has presented many coveted positions in various industry including, music, entertainment, politics, education and event planning. Without hesitation, I know serving humanity has been my greatest teacher and more powerful than mastery in any arena. I began this work to heal. According to Carl Jung, “wounded people are healed by other wounded people.” Healing is a lived experience and what is needed for healing is compassion not expertise.

A passionate learner and storyteller, I am committed to reframing and changing stories about myself and others to uncover new and empowering narratives. When not coaching or in service, you will find me replenishing myself through painting, cooking, reading, dancing salsa with my beloved or singing with my precocious seven year old boy.

Poetry shapes and informs my life. Poetry translates the world and reminds me of our infinite capacity to create and transform.

This poem articulates for me the singular truth I hold in my work.

The Seven Of Pentacles by Marge Piercy

Under a sky the color of pea soup
she is looking at her work growing away there
actively, thickly like grapevines or pole beans
as things grow in the real world, slowly enough.
If you tend them properly, if you mulch, if you water,
if you provide birds that eat insects a home and winter food,
if the sun shines and you pick off caterpillars,
if the praying mantis comes and the ladybugs and the bees,
then the plants flourish, but at their own internal clock.

Connections are made slowly, sometimes they grow underground.
You cannot tell always by looking what is happening.
More than half the tree is spread out in the soil under your feet.
Penetrate quietly as the earthworm that blows no trumpet.
Fight persistently as the creeper that brings down the tree.
Spread like the squash plant that overruns the garden.
Gnaw in the dark and use the sun to make sugar.

Weave real connections, create real nodes, build real houses.
Live a life you can endure: Make love that is loving.
Keep tangling and interweaving and taking more in,
a thicket and bramble wilderness to the outside but to us
interconnected with rabbit runs and burrows and lairs.
Live as if you liked yourself, and it may happen:
reach out, keep reaching out, keep bringing in.
This is how we are going to live for a long time: not always,
for every gardener knows that after the digging, after
the planting, after the long season of tending and growth, the harvest comes.
